Ted Spring Tapped To Lead Cape Fear Community College From More Than Three Dozen Candidates PDF Print E-mail

WILMINGTON, (AP) — Cape Fear Community College has named a West Virginia educator as its new president.

 
The college board of trustees has selected Ted Spring as president. He is currently the president of New River Community and Technical College in Summersville, W.Va.
 
Spring's nomination is subject to approved by the North Carolina Community College System. The date he begins work in North Carolina has not yet been set. Spring was selected from a pool of 41 candidates.
 
Spring has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Je is a community college graduate, earn an associate's degree in applied science from Adirondack Community College in upstate New York.
