RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - An executive summary of school grades recently released by the Department of Public Instruction includes a statistical summary the grades.

A breakout chart showing the differences between traditional and charter public schools is also included.

The summary data shows that 28.8 percent of public schools received an "A" or "B," while 40.8 percent of public charter schools scored an "A" or "B."
