RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Investigators from the state auditor's office have determined that the  former president of Cape Fear Community College mishandled funds and made decisions that were out of the president's sphere of authority.

The president is not named, but his or her tenure is listed as from November 1, 2012 to January 22, 2015, when he resigned.

The Associated Press has identified the former president as Ted Spring.
