RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Shippensburg University Professor Christine Royce will help teachers understand how to use trade books to teach science when she conducts a workshop at the meeting of the N.C. Science Leadership Association.

The meeting will be held April 30 at the Embassy Suites in Cary.

Dr. Royce has been investigating the integration of children’s literature in the science classroom for nearly two decades. As co-author of the Teaching Through Trade Books column in Science and Children, she focuses on the integration of engaging science investigations and children’s trade books within a three dimensional learning approach.
