RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Three quarters of a million dollars. That's the amount of a federal grant North Carolina will receive from the U.S. Small Business Administration to help the state's small businesses boost international sales.

“When small and medium sized businesses increase their global market share, that growth creates jobs,” said Gov. McCrory in a statement.

In 2014, North Carolina companies were responsible for $31 billion in exports.

The state helps businesses with market research, export education, global branding opportunities, and access to trade shows.
