RALEIGH -- Vince Rozier has been appointed to the Wake County District Court bench by Governor Beverly Perdue. Rozier was selected to fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Craig Croom to a Special Superior Court judgeship.


Rozier serves as the Ombudsman to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

A judge, Rozier served moiré than four years on the District Court in Wake County, where he presided over cases in Family, Child Support, Criminal and Juvenile Courts.

Prior to that Rozier served as an assistant District Attorney in Wake County. As an Assistant District Attorney, he served as a member of the Wake County Juvenile Treatment Court Team, prosecuted non-drug felonies, drug cases, and handled misdemeanor appeals. He is active in the community, serving on several non-profit boards in Wake County.

Rozier is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
