RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Charles M. “Casey” Viser of Mecklenburg County has been nominated For Special Superior Court Judgeship.
 
"Casey Viser served Mecklenburg County with distinction as a District Court Judge and is a well-respected and distinguished litigator," said Gov. Pat McCrory in a statement announcing the nomination. "His impending role as a Special Superior Court judge will only further his legacy of commitment and service to his community and the state."
 
Governor McCrory appointed Viser as a Mecklenburg County District Court Judge on July 15, 2013.  Prior to his service as a District Court Judge, he was a partner at James, McElroy & Diehl in Charlotte, where he was a civil and criminal litigator.
