Henderson County Snags 50 Jobs From German Supplier of Automotive Decorative Trim Products PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Demmel Inc. will invest nearly $4.3 million and create 50 jobs in Henderson County over the next five years.
 
Demmel's products are found on BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla Motors and other vehicles. Its facility will be in Flat Rock.
 
Positions will include assembly technicians, quality engineers, material handlers and others. Annual salaries will vary by position but will average at least $35,510. Overall wages in Henderson County currently average $35,287 per year.
 
 The project was made possible in part by a performance-based grant of up to $150,000 from the One North Carolina Fund. Parties to the deal include: the North Carolina General Assembly, the Appalachian Regional Commission, the North Carolina Community College System, Blue Ridge Community College, Henderson County and the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development.
