RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Wake County real estate expert   Jeff Sheehan has been appointed to serve as a member of the Board of the North Carolina Department of Transportation representing Division 5.

 
Sheehan, senior vice president of Duke Realty, fills the unexpired term of current member Mike Smith, who is stepping down effective August 20.
 
Gov. Pat McCrory made the appointment.
