RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The focus by states like North Carolina on reducing prescription drug abuse leads the stories featured in the August edition of "NGA Today," produced by the National Governors Association.

 

North Carolina is one of four states recently selected to participate in the special effort and a policy academy on the topic.

 

Other features include a look at improving the economy by preparing the future work force and a "Get to the Know the Governor" feature on North Dakota's Gov. Jack Dalrymple.
