RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The panel that provides science advice to the Coastal Resources Commission will meet later this month to update the 2010 sea-level rise study report.
 
The science panel, which consists of engineers and geologists, will meet at 10 a.m. September 24 at the Craven County Cooperative Extension building in New Bern. 
 
The meeting is open to the public. Those who wish to speak can do so at 2:45 p.m.
 
The panel was created by the commission in 1997.
