RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - After learning of the death of Hal Rue, electrician in the Department of Administration, the agency released the following statement from Secretary Bill Daughtridge.

Rue died after an on the job accident earlier this week. Officials believe equipment malfunctioned outside the state's Archives building, falling on Rue. He had worked for the agency for nearly five years.

“All employees of the NC Department of Administration are saddened to hear of Hal Rue’s death. He was a strong, dedicated and sincere man. Our deepest sympathies go out to his widow and family during this time. We ask folks to join us by keeping the Rue family in their thoughts and prayers."
