RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Associate Supreme Court Justice Mark Martin has more than a quarter of a million dollars on hand for his bid to become the Chief Justice of the state's highest court.

 
Analysis compiled by the North Carolina Free Enterprise Foundation (NCFEF) shows Martin with $254,461 on hand as of the 2nd quarter report. His opponenent, current Superior Court Judge Ola Lewis has $77,577 on hand.
 
NCFEF has also culled on-hand figures for the three races for an Associate Justice seat -- the seats now held by Mark Martin, Robin Hudson, and Cheri Beasley.
 
The three races for a seat on the North Carolina Court of Appeals are also included in the data, which can be found at www.ncfef.org.
