RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The first televised U.S. Senate debate of the Fall 2014 General Election will feature the two major party candidates on the stage, fielding questions from CBS This Morning Co-Anchor Norah O'Donnell.

 
The Wednesday, September 3 debate will telecast on UNC-TV and made available to more than 30 TV stations in the state and to radio audiences via the North Carolina News Network. 
 
The hour-long debates begins at 7 p.m.
 
The debate is sponsored by the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Educational Forum.
 
The group is sponsoring a second debate on October 7. That forum will be moderated by George Stephanopoulos of ABC News.
 
Libertarian candidate Sean Haugh is the third candidate in the Senate race.
