"Last Saturday, the Houston Independent School System held a job fair in Greensboro, aggressively recruiting Triad teachers to Texas.  This comes after a new National Education Association report shows North Carolina in the bottom ten in teacher-pay and dead last in the Southeast in funding per-student.  This is an assault on our public education.
As a former teacher, I am committed to fighting to give our teachers the pay raise they deserve and put more resources in their classroom.  Will you join our party in this fight with a $5 contribution?
