RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Ahead of this week's first quarter fundraising deadline, the state's Democratic Party sent a fundraising appeal that refers to "extremists in the legislature who are sponsoring bills that would harm North Carolina."

"Tonight's midnight deadline is our opportunity to prove that we have what it takes to win in 2016.  Please donate immediately.  

The extremists in the legislature are sponsoring bills that would harm North Carolina.  We've already seen SB2 and now the so called Religious Freedom Restoration Act.  There's so much at stake, and we must begin preparing today.  Help us by midnight tonight.  

We know special interest groups will play in North Carolina again in 2016.  That's why we need to begin building our grassroots movement that will be the top in the nation.  Please donate immediately.
