RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Following the U.S. Supreme Court order that the North Carolina Supreme Court review again the redrawn election maps created by state Republicans, state Democratic Party Chairwoman Patsy Keever issued the following fundraising email


"The U.S. Supreme Court just sent our redistricting case back to the NC Supreme Court.  This is good news for Democrats.

Our State Supreme Court will now review the case and apply the standards of the Alabama case, which overturned race-based legislative districts.

This will give us more competitive legislative races and will allow us to elect more Democrats to the legislature.  Help us prepare for this victory.
