Democrats made mixed news this week.  Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx was selected as President Obama's DOT secretary and Rep. Mel Watt as director of Federal Housing Authority.  Then, rising Democratic star state Rep. Deborah Ross announced she was resigning her office to work for the Triangle Transit Authority.  Gov. Pat McCrory replaced all five members on state Board of Elections just as old board voted to examine campaign contributions to McCrory and other prominent Republicans.  UNC President Tom Ross says "enough" to legislators who want students and others to be allowed to take their guns to school.  Tune in.
