Will the Republican controlled legislature gets it way on the budget and if so, how will they do it? That question and more are discussed by Jim Morrill of the Charlotte Observer and SGRToday.com's Josh Ellis with host Barlow Herget in the Weekly News Review. The Republicans moved with record-speed, even bypassing the typical conference committee meetings to adopt a $19.7 billion budget bill. They also have successfully persuaded enough Democrats in the House to help them override Governor Perdue's veto should she veto the bill.  Republicans already have a veto-proof Senate. What will this do to Governor Perdue politically?  What special provisions were put in the bill and then taken out? Tune in and find out.
