Will the Republican controlled legislature gets it way on the budget and if so, how will they do it? The Republicans moved with record-speed, even bypassing the typical conference committee meetings to adopt a $19.7 billion budget bill. They also have successfully persuaded enough Democrats in the House to help them override Governor Perdue's veto should she veto the bill.  Republicans already have a veto-proof Senate.
