How many vetoes has Gov. Beverly Perdue signed? Will any more face an override in the Republican-controlled legislature?  And what about State Highway Patrol troopers making bad press again? Veteran capital reporters Barry Smith of the Freedom Newspapers in North Carolina and Bruce Ferrell, managing editor of the NC News Network and WPTF News answer these questions with host Barlow Herget in his Weekly News Review. But the biggest political chatter in the capital city this week was about redistricting.  The Republicans have drawn some very different congressional districts that will make it difficult for incumbent Democrats to hold their seats.  Is it politics as usual or politics as unusual?  It's been over 100 years since Republicans have controlled the redistricting process.
