Jim Morrill of the Charlotte Observer takes host Barlow Herget and guest Rick Martinez, news director of WPTF News, to the Democratic Convention in the Queen City; the speeches, the fundraising and the last-minute substitution of the arena for the much larger Panther's football stadium for President Obama's acceptance speech.  The panel also looks at the NCAA's latest decision on UNC-Chapel Hill and the state board of election's party-line vote to expand hours and locations for early voting.
